good post, real estate is the best investment and will continue to be. It is a good investment as long as you are smart about it and don't lose it when you get old and sick.
The government can't afford to let all these houses go to foreclosure, they will continue to help IMO...We should hit bottom sometime during the next year. In my mind the best prophalactic is avoidance of this segment of the market. Besides, the biggest tragedy that hit people in recent years was the popping of the internet bubble. MANY more people lost their asses then, then will happen through the real estate correction...To that end, in Miami for the weekend looking for investment ops....FWIW
