I have had a similar issue on another forum that uses

'Powered by vBadvanced CMPS v3.0 RC1'.

The text does not disappear, but my cursor gets offset by a bunch, and I'm not typing where I think I am. After some futzing around, I can usually get it back in sync. So, I don't know, maybe Camino has issues with text boxes.

G5 iMac, 10.3.9 Camino 2007050909 (v1.5).

But no problems with this forum posting, except for the small text size.

Anyone else have ideas about making that text box text bigger. It is a lot smaller than what gets finally posted. I followed the earlier suggestions of setting the font sizes in prefs, that does it, but as I expected it makes the text too big in other pages, and the text over-runs and becomes unreadable sometimes.

These internet geniuses need to figure out how to let you see their stuff. Is there something I can do with style sheets applied on a site-by-site basis? Never played with that.

You didn't happen to add a default style sheet did you? Your symptoms are exactly what would happen if your highlight color became the same as the background color. The Text would be there but you wouldn't be able to see it because the two colors are the same.

You might also check your system preferences appearance panel and change the highlight color and see if that helps.

Might also try Camino 1.5.1. Fixed a crash on shutdown problem for me.
