Weird Camino problem. When I go into a web site and use the mouse to select a section of text, the selected text disappears.

Similarly, I can select Post New Message here but when I start typing nothing shows up. The typing is taking because if I hit Submit Post everything I've typed will show up in the new post.

This is only happening in Camino on the G5 iMac running OS X 10.4.10. No such problems on the Intel MBP. Camino was also working fine on the G4 iMac before the latter died.

Have compared Camino Preferences in both machines, have restarted the G5, quit and restarted Camino any number of times, even unplugged and replugged the mouse, but no go.

Disappearing text problem is still there.

Any ideas?
