Current sp tells me that there are those who agree with your "birdie" post.

I agree, Offor is going nowhere, but an independent board with an independent chairman and an independent CEO and CFO is better corporate governance and looks better in the eyes of SEC and the investing community. Its a win win for everyone involved. Additionally, he's obviously moving full steam a head into the energy sector with Chrome and now that he's not the chairman of ERHC he doesn't have to worry about conflicts of interests like the starcrest deal which despite what SFREED says about shareholders having to take action you can be sure the SEC is giving a very close look at it without our requests.

Art, that doesn't make any sense. Why would SEO resign if not in conjunction with some deal of some kind? He was a non-executive director anyway. If he wanted to devote more time to Chrome business matters, he could sure do that without resigning from the ERHE board. Nope, doesn't wash. ERHE was his company, and you can bet there is more than meets the eye to his resignation. There is a story there and some day, sooner or later, we'll find out what it was. Just my opinion of course. Good post Art,

I have to wonder how many on this board still regard the soothsayer...Oilphant...as credible? These soothsayers are never verifiabe so hopefully, most just have fun with the posts.

Regarding Offors signoff from official control (at least on paper)...if family, friends and associates originally advised Offor not to get involved with ERHE....I wonder who all the shareholders are? I would bet that many of them are those same family, friends and associates.

I actually never wanted to see Offor give up control...mainly because of his political connections, but then as long as he holds enough shares he will probably continue to impact ERHE's future, when possible, for his own personal interests.

It's now confirmed that ERHE will not be Offors personal focus as far as continued growth so we have what we have...which is plenty good enough to get me where I want to go so long as the oil is there. Maybe new management will come in with a game plan to eventually develope ERHE into a legitimate oil company...again this will probably depend on the amount of oil found in our current holdings. If the right team is hired this could certainly turn out very positive. Impossible to tell what the future holds...but I'm betting it will be good. We may all feel that we have been in the right place at the wrong time, but we are getting closer...and it won't be long now.

I see that Offor plans to turn to other markets for future public listings. I would guess that he has had enough of the SEC & DOJ. He probably looks at them the same way that most look at Nigerian businessmen.

I've been extremely busy again lately so not many posts but I see that you have all been doing fine without me....Hell, you have gotten the SP back up out of the super dumpster....now we are just back to the regular dumpster. See, all the hard work you all are doing is paying off...Ha! Good news is all that will drive this SP to the levels we all hope for...not hypsters...and not meaningless PR's. The investment world is not a bunch of idiots. When they see real potential value they will swarm. If the upcoming moves are positive, the investors will not need us to find them...they will find us. And then, as drilling approaches, more and more will find us. It's the way the market works, and we cannot change that.

Since I do not expect Offor to make bad moves in this change of manangement I do think that we will start the climb. I'm sure there will be some ups and downs but overall I expect that when we look back at our chart we will see a consistant climb up to drilling. I can't predict when the major climb will start because, like all of you, I don't know the events that will be taking place...or the impact that each will have. I do have faith that from here on out we will have more smiles than frowns. If I thought anything else I would be looking for a new investment.
