Don't you think there's something wrong when a carpenter and a college professor can't afford a house?
Also think about the hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of new units of condos and houses which have been added to the market in the past 4 years. Currently most are 'luxury', but alas, there appear to be fewer and fewer luxury buyers than they hoped.
At some point, banks and builders aren't going to want to be holding millions of empty units, paying for property taxes, and watching the properties deteriorate.
It could wind up that housing might become affordable after all..lol
