I really shouldn't be so judgmental. I was a Catholic until I was 33. It's hard when they get you so young, I guess.
Speaking of Log Cabin Republicans, I see that their guy Giuliani has withdrawn his support for Civil Unions. He now favors "a much more modest set of rights for gay partners than civil union laws in effect in four states". He now opposes civil unions because he says they are "the equivalent of marriage" which he says he has always opposed. However in 2004 he told Bill O'Reilly: "I'm in favor of civil unions. So now you have a civil partnership, domestic partnership, civil union, whatever you want to call it, and that takes care of the imbalance, the discrimination, which we shouldn't have." Gotta pick up that crucial bigot vote if you want to be the Republican candidate.
