Honestly, I was unable to read it all, thru my tears......maybe I missed the GOOD part at the end.....I hope.
IF these people believe in the loving Jesus Christ I was raised to believe in, HOW do they sleep at night?
3 major religions, add the Romans (who are, again, the ONLY true way to salvation), ALL fighting for members and our $, plus SO many others..........I'm not confused, I'm apalled.
WE think we have progressed and humans, but we still fight one another for land and $ in the name of the local "GOD".
I was raised Lutheran, a pretty laid-back group, if ever you want to find one, but "WE" shun Gays...to a degree. GRRRRRRRRRR.
My church, in a little farm town, has SO much money, we could fed EVERYONE who is hungry in that town, or give them housing and/or trade school tuition.......do they? hell no. My mother wants to leave them enough $ so that the pastor never has a Buick more that 3 years old...(she thinks a Cadillac would send the wrong message)
THAT's creepy enough, but she's ALSO thinking about another window for her MOTHER, like Grandma paid for, for HER husband, my Grandfather. My Grandfather wasn't even a member of that church. HE was Anglican, and THEY got a house out of him for "pastor" and a matched pair of (damn them) OLD rugs,from his sister, and a set of Sterling, for "Father" to use from another sister, and a farm from another sister........They sold the farm and have ice cream socials on the lawn of the house to "raise money for missions"
