sonetirot, while some belittle the idea of a short attack, i refer to 7/06. there was a two day assault that cost me a fortune. i believe we are seeing a similar phenomena. take a look at that chart. things turned around quickly once they were finished. any new license changes the game. a big time license could set off a short squeeze. idcc is under attack because of the clash of the titans in this industry, imo. as WM said, big dollars at stake.
idcc has a warchest, (which is EXACTLY accurate in this case), a super-strong patent portfolio, and reputedly, "meaningful licensees to be signed this year."
