TFWG: Your post to Alley reminded me of something that happen many years ago when I was a kid. I was sitting on the front porch with my Grand Father when another old man came walking buy talking to himself. Grand Daddy just had to ask "who you talking to old man." With out missing a beat or stride and with out looking up he said "Best S O B I Know"

Alley, I read your posts and have a question, why do you quote yourself?

The quotes that I identify in my posts are generally germane to that that days activity and future activity. At the time that they were posted ... they were forward looking. Some Folks say that TA only illustrates past activity ... my past quotes clearly identifies that TA does have a value for understanding and forecasting the market and equities future behavior ...
I try to keep my TA simple....I avoid highlighting OR mentioning many of the technical variables I may be looking at to evaluate the markets direction.
There are other technicians on the board who will outline chart patterns
and give a barrage of TA readings bollinger band...stochastics..macd , etc., they may have a tendencyto make some folks eyes glaze over ... example chart pattern yesterday was a 'harami'..... by the way......in my estimation ... Jim is a very proficient technician. I am not certain why he avoids simplifying his understanding for the lay folks on the board...maybe someone should ask him...
Any way ... it is not to hear myself speak....G-d knows....nothing could be worse...if others find this confusing or annoying...or unnecessary...please let me know......it will save me some time...
