Hi again. The GI death toll in Iraq dropped in July to 72, and the administration is in high spin mode, touting progress and saying that the surge is succeeding. But they don't mention that casualties are always down in July, and nevertheless this year is the worst July on record. It's also been the second-deadliest month for Iraqis this year. And then today the largest Suni faction of the Iraq government pulled out of the government. Bush is busy downplaying that too. Also, expect Bush today or tomorrow to claim executive privilege again, and order Carl Rove and Scott Jennings to ignore the Senate subpoenas and refuse to testify about the firings of the Federal Prosecutors.
