The question whether Wave has a minimum of software on every FDE.2 shipped and whether Seagate pays Wave for every drive shipped are both up in the air as far as I'm concerned right now.
It's something I expect we can get cleared up in the next 8 days.
In other words, right now it appears that Wave gets nothing for every drive shipped to Lenovo, which suggests that without a bundling agreement or a separate purchase by the user of Wave software -- the China thing is not revenue producing.
OF COURSE, if server side stuff is required to pull off prevention of MFST piracy things are good.
Call me a mushroom, but I'm not growing without more stuff being thrown around.
