It might be useful if the definition "shallow" for other CO2 EOR projects came into the discussion.

For Louisiana, kicking off an EOR project will require the usuals, a public hearing, and unitization. This is where it gets hilarious in Pine Island.

Pretend that you're sitting around the table with the other dozen operators that either 1) don't want to pay, 2) don't want to play - as you discuss how, according to the geology, production is to be divided - because it WON'T be on a per acre basis ---- somebody is going to be explaining why, in their unit (160-320 acres, whatever) he's going to be getting 4X more money than the next guy on a per acre basis because he's in the "sweet spot" and the other guy isn't.
