So good of you to drop by and offer your learned opinion...

As with any mechanical system that relies heavily on TA and statistics, flat to slightly down periods are not at all unusual, especially when the market goes sideways and has frequent daily reversals, and we have pointed potential subscribers to those periods in the past with the appropriate cautionary notes. Also, the signal is EOD to EOD, and if you really do live trading, you should know that the gaps the last several weeks have been unusual, and in at least one case turned a winning trade into a loser, even though the EOD signal was correct. Such are the limitations of an EOD signal/NDO trading system. We have never represented Merlin as a day trading system, although with the live Prelim available to subscribers on our website, some are getting positive results using it as such. Lately, our signal streaks have been pretty good. In May we had one streak of 11 correct in a row (I guess that was just luck, huh?), and as of yesterday, had 8 out of the last 9.
