Hi Steve, I have heard this rumor before. I even asked my friend Brian White at Waterhouse - Milwaukee office - about it. He, at the time (back in December), said he'd heard the rumors also, but that nothing was being confirmed at that time. He didn't know if TD Bank was selling Waterhouse or looking to merge it into something else, or looking for an acquisition.

We'll have to keep on top of this one. I like the user interface at Waterhouse and hate to learn anything new!!!

I hated TDW.
I hated their user interface most of all.
I sold out all of my holdings at losses just to get out of there.

Why would anyone use a broker besides Scottrade ??
