Poundhound, I encourage you and every shareholder to contact the company directly, not to hope somebody else does it for you or to think there's no need to do it yourself because you *only* hold xxx,xxx shares.
The only way the shareholders can assure having clout is through collective action, starting now. Contact the company or be happy with whatever they choose to do.
Hound, Every share counts. If you haven't sent an email to AMEP, I recommend you do. My big fear is that the shareholders will splinter and not be able to put up a united voting block.
