If it's the date of packaging then the die is even earlier. I've not found a good picture of recent reviews. Help me out if you can.

Petz, afaik the date is when the wafer was made at fab30. Packaging may be several months after that, for example if the die had defective cache, and AMD was waiting to collect enough of such defective parts and then start making stipped-out versions out of them.
