I guess we both look for different things in a laptop. Does that make me insane?

I am not a hardware guy, but I thought AMD announced Mobil Athlon 64 3400+ for desktops/DTRs and 2800+/3000+/3200+ for notebooks, aren't the latter 3 processors low-powered? I still think Centrinos couldn't justify their steep price. Maybe I shoud buy some INTC back to have a nicer viewpoint about Centrinos. :-)

Seriously, I believe the landscape will change if AMD (Mobil Athlon64) have some design win from Sony soon - I really like those VAIO notebooks are very sexy...
