Matt, need some help.

I've having trouble lately trying to connect to StreetSmartPro.
It is a Schwab trading platform. Cybertrader seems to be Schwab's top of the line,
and SSPro uses the Cybertdrader software.

I've gotten alot of help from Bruce Thompson (Dream Machine) trying to solve the problem,
I uninstalled the existing anti-virus software, and installed various
anti-virus and firewall software suggested by Bruce.
In the process I'm getting workable virus/firewall software and a more efficient system.

CyberTrader Support provided me the link to their VisualTrace:
I also again ran the test2.cybertrader.com VisualTraceRoute. (Sat. Jan.3, from message #730)
It still stops at hop 11, with message; IP packets are being lost past network 64.212.225.0 at hop 12.
There is insufficient cached information to determine the next network at hop 13.
Node 64.212.225.166 at hop 12 in network 64.212.225.0 reports "The Destination Network Is Unreachable"
.


According to Bruce, Looks like you have a corrupt IP address for SSPro,
check with IHub Matt for information on how to remove the corrupt shortcut from the hosts file.

Matt...A question???

It seems we share the same opinion of Herr Hollen, (I've read a couple of your responses to him). I was just curious if you could give me a general answer to my earlier inquiries...either in this forum or with a Priv. msg.
