No Alzheimer's is fantastic news. Rough week for sure though. My mother passed on in 03 of stroke and cancer that she willed upon herself following my dads dying from lung cancer 3 years prior. I asked her if she willed it upon herself and she nodded yes on her deathbed in my own home. We only discovered the stomach cancer from the ER workup after her stroke. She died within three days. She was ready to go. I miss them both at my own age of 48 and am saddened by the cancer cause of death but I've heard and read of other elderly having it so much worse even than my own folks and they did live into their 70s so they had full lives. But, I miss them greatly nonetheless. Hopefully your folks will have it relatively easy when it's time and us too for that matter. Right now it's time for me to trade myself into an early retirement and college money for my 3 children.
