Thanks! Actually, last Saturday my Dad was pushing her wheelchair, which he'd just rented that day, and the strap that holds your feet in came off. It went under the front wheel and it flipped the chair forward. Her right arm is broken, and her right arm is all bandaged up with that huge cut all the way across it, and she did a nose dive straight into the concrete walkway breaking her nose and requiring some more stitches. She had a helluva week. She's doin okay now though, just continueing with the healing. Just more to heal now. Hopefully this will end this accident prone phase.

On a MUCH BRIGHTER NOTE, I had her records reviewed by the head of the neurology dept. at the University of Texas Medical Center, who is also the head of the Alzheimer's Dept., and he concluded, based upon his review of her records, that he doesn't think she has Alzheimer's but rather dimentia caused by the combination of drugs she was taking. THAT'S GREAT NEWS! Bones and cuts will heal but there's no cure for Alzheimer's.

Right. I get each of your points. Off topic, but I've been reading this board for a few weeks now and it was depressing reading of your mothers miserable accident. I do not look forward to the golden years myself. It's tough enough when you're young and healthy! Hope she's feeling ok and doing better. Take care.
