Look, this is the case with anything in life - a good thing comes about and word spreads. That's life. Back in the late 90's it was the IPO's. When Etrade would release them on the website they were pretty easy to get into when it first started. But then everyone got word of them. It became harder and harder to obtain pre IPO shares - to the point where the brokers were limiting the amount from 100 to 50 shares if you were lucky enough to get any in the lottery.
