I agree with the points you make. There really needs to be some clarification about a whole range of issues. There also have to be some measures put in place to protect the shareholders from the dangers of dilution and other potential abuses. Management will have to make some assurances to shareholders that everyone will benefit equally from the R/S. They will have to do this sooner than latter because as the NAV increases with the completion of each well the chances of a hostile buyout increase also. Won't be surprised if accumulation hasn't started already. Just my view.

aardvark - I agree with you 100%.

It is management's responsibility to honestly and completely justify the reverse split. I need to know which is the primary driver, the raising of funds or the major maket listing. I cannot tell based on the SEC filing.

If it is for the market listing, I am all for it. If it is for undisclosed future sums of money, then I feel I'm entering a very risky area.

If I am told exactly how much money will be needed for various stages of production expansion, I will evaluate that after learning the details (and I believe it will probably all make sense, based on recent history) in which case I will support it with a smaller cap on the authorized shares.
