He's trying to recover, no question about it. The really big question is "exactly what is he trying to recover from?" He did reveal a couple tidbits - such as negative cash flow on some existing properties. That could explain the forclosures in Vegas and Florida - he doesn't seem to have enough money to pay the mortgages.
That Aspen cove property and stonewall lawsuit seems to be the only thing he can talk about at the moment. That's disturbing, because from what we're hearing, he doesn't have any chance to recover that stonewall money. And now Granite is suing him to get that Vegas property back.
Roger sure isn't a quitter, is he! He's in deep, deep trouble, and he's going to put every last nickel into a long-shot play to turn this thing around. I just wish he could be honest with us all and tell us the extent of his problems.
