To all:

There have been some liberties taken with the information about the plant in IA that you should all be aware of. I am not trying to bash anything as I do not own this stock, but have a vested interest in the success of the Biofuels industry in general and some direct involvement with Core Ventures and Freedom Fuels (I sell process automation systems for ethanol and biodiesel plants).

First, the plant in IA is operational and took over a year to be built. It is still not running at full capacity, now 14 months after ground breaking. They did not finish the plant faster than the industry average. If in fact they will be adding 100M Gallons in production, you can bet that won't be complete until well into 2008. I'm no expert on the Rivera process, and neither is Core or BioCentric, so thinking a full scale production facility will be up and running in less than 5 months is crazy!

Second, there is no construction underway on the new facility in Mason City. They may be putting these new tubes in an existing building, but there are no buildings in process to handle the number of tubes required to make 100MG of additional biofuel (biodiesel or cellulosic ethanol). Coincidentally, there are no other large scale (over 20MGY) cellulosic ethanol plants in operation anywhere in the world yet.

I spoke with some of the people I know at Freedom Fuels today and there have been no signed contracts put in place yet. I'm not saying there won't be, just nothing official yet.

I can't speak to the other points mentioned about the Illinois project as I don't have any direct contact with that territory. I would love to see this become a reality and have been waiting for some more concrete proof of the concept. Having companies like NewMech and SSOE (part of Core ventures team) involved certainly gains credibility, but they have a long way to go yet.

There are many other things working against the biodiesel industry right now, that will likely make this a lot longer road than is being portrayed. You may want to do a little more research before you invest a larger sum of money in this venture. I will be happy to post any updates I get to validate their progress.
