Sure, Matt deserves a raise as well. That was the only time when I was nervous when he changed things. He has to deal with all the crap and complaints constantly and even the good natured ribbings he endures could become a grind, but he treats it with aplomb. Besides, he'll need a little more money so he can have a good vacation.

Any clue why I would get a cookie request with the following info?

EGSOFT_ID
www.nolo.com
Fri, Dec 31 2010 00:00:00
205.188.208.102-2532391600.29611025

I had a wierd one from IHub yesterday at home, but have not had a chance to post the info.

Upon seeing your inaction, I just asked Bob to help me.
Plus your inaction on the top two boards are echo'ed the same.

SI is taking over twenty seconds to load a page. Was pretty fast earlier. This reminds me of that scheduled task problem a few months back.

I think I have figured out the weird cookie requests that I get sometimes. They appear to originate from images in a post.

For example, #msg-1935618 generated a cookie request for:

SITESERVER
lifesflavor.com
ID=2bf291cc9d9eaf2be3e940cc000488da

It appears that the image in that post is from the site trying to place the cookie. Is the cross-site cookie request normal? Any idea if there is a setting (other than the routine cookie settings) to prevent it?

Wish I had knew enough to have some ideas for you on the mystery slow downs......no such luck though.
