I would rather them take shares off the market. A one time div will only give a short pop. A continuing Div is a different story and would hurt any shorts.

Good luck with these guys in finding $5M cash to give as a dividend. They gave up on what was supposed to be a lucrative oil property just because they didn't want to risk $1M in drilling a dry hole. These guys buy out or incorporate distressed companies and try to turn them around. Are they even turning a profit at all.
