Yes, I agree, and that is what makes me very wary of this guy. It is very disturbing to have a person who is industry savvy not revealing their intentions. In fact, they have made it a point to specifically not reveal their intentions or identity.
And a person like that can do a lot of damage in many ways. They can lead the blind lemmings and they can snake-tongue their way into your confidence only to stab you in the back later.
I don't know about anyone else here, but in real life, back stabbing and abusing of trust happens much more than happy endings that wrap up all the loose ends in a nice and tidy bow.
I think you summed it up nicely with the word "TAINTED".
