Torre keeps saying it doesn't matter if he pitches at Fenway, personally If I were Torre I would want him to pitch his first game at home. He has a workout regime that has helped him preform this long into his career. I have no doubt he will come out and pitch hard but I wouldn't want him pitching in Boston trying to prove something and tweaking a hamstring trying to get that 2 or 3 mph extra trying to show Boston what they lost when they gave him up.
I believe his era pitching for the Yankees was 4.58 against the Red Sox. I can honestly say he is definitely this time for sure in the twilight of his career?
