So did they or are they getting to partisipate in the trials due to lack of people with security clearances.

At least we know they have been pursuing legitimate interests. This kind of info indirectly bolsters my faith in the Pachuca efforts.

Still wondering if the Hotzone reorganization may have served the dual purpose of better accountability as well as a more government/security friendly organizational structure. Especially as security is listed as an issue in the CWID info.

Benefits: Low cost communications and data retransmission system that can be easily transported, set up and used in both fixed and mobile configurations providing units form the forward to rear areas access to necessary data, both secure and unsecured, needed to conduct operations.
Description: The HotZone 4010 and 4020 Wireless communications access ports are essentially “bent pipe” systems for low cost, efficient, high speed, high data rate communications and data relay. They have been, and are being, developed for the commercial marketplace with defense and homeland security applications. They combine a mix-and-match combination of four times WiFi/WiMax radio cards and two times DECT radio cards for the 4010, and four times WiFi/WiMAX radio cards and four times DECT radio cards for the 4020 which should be available by the final quarter of calendar year 2006. Beginning early 2007 IPTV and mobile DECT will be included in the base stations for each system. Each system uses the WiMAX 802.16 and WiFi 802.11a, b and g standards.
