Probably not, but on my 56k robotics modem I had to change the upload speed myself, with a program. It looks like your modem is setup to run as a normal 56k modem which is up to 53k down and 32k up. on my modem I could change the up load speed to 48k I think, but that meant my download speed sucked. It was a one or the other thing and I had to change it manually. Check the manual that came with the modem.

When I was on dial-up I had some increased performance using Tweak Master http://www.tweakmaster.com They have a trial I think.
