I don't see how GE making an offer to buy Biocurex would be in our long-term interests. I am still hoping for strong, dramatic increases in the share price commensurate with the risks we have assumed investing in a tiny biotech. A buyout shortly after the GE/Abbott deal closes would limit our return. I want to be holding shares in an independent pure RECAF play over the long term, when we are on the front pages of the major newpapers. I don't want to be picked off before the story even gets told!
Why would BOCX allow themselves to be bought out by GE? Wouldn't it be more profitable to license to other companies? Isn't that why Abbott only got a semi-exclusive deal with BOCX?
Any estimates on what the buy-out offer would be? How much is RECAF worth?
