If AMD was having all of these fab problems the Intel employees and contractors continue to repeat, I don't think Dirk would be out in the field.

Last I heard Myer was VP of Engineering. When did he move
over to Operations? Was this voluntary or was he demoted
because of Opteron's massive schedule slip and failure to
achieve its introductory clock rate target?

I read where Dirk Meyer was with Ruiz in China.

After his last visit, Craig Barett explained that China customers preffered value to price. Probably, that's why Meyer and Ruiz are so busy in China.
