You are correct that disgruntled employees exist, just as disgruntled shareholders. For the same reason. They has an expectation that the company was going to become much more than it did.
We, collectively, refuse to shoulder any part of the blame, it must be someone elses fault. We had a bad run, it may be over. I don't believe that, but it is a possiblility.
