Since you posted to "none", I figured you wanted all input.

IMO it's not a violation of the TOU to call an officer of a public corporation a swindler unless the post was posted directly to him.

As far as a poster calling another poster a pumper or a basher, that would be a direct personal attack.

If the poster used the terms in a general statement about the company/stock though, I don't think it is a personal attack.

For instance,

The pumpers/bashers are really going at it on this company/stock.

should not be considered a personal attack.

If I owned a stock where the CEO posted on a message board I would have to rethink owning the stock.

Shouldn't he have more important things to do?

Company officials are not afforded the same degree of protection from personal attack as other users since they are public figures. That does not mean that users have a blanket exemption; they should still exercise common courtesy when addressing any user.

Whether referring to a specific user or a group of users, pejorative terms such as "pumpers" & "bashers" are almost always either off-topic and/or a personal attack, particularly on company specific boards. Those boards are about a stock and the company, not about other users.
