Given GTEMs history of exaggerations and embellishments, it would not be surprising.

Since the Centerline accounting practices are now under the SEC microscope, GTEM may have had no choice but to come clean. There now has to be accountability, whereas before the SEC took a peek, GTEM could claim anything.

After repeated glowing and optimistic reports from GTEM management about Centerline being the cornerstone of GTEM, and how Centerline was/is pulling in amazing profits, they now do a complete reversal? Very "fishy."

Your point is closest to the truth of the matter, IMO.
