My guess is there was some kind of quiet behind the scenes pump based on something someone heard from the company. That is my speculation.
But there was a similar weird pop in the l2s yesterday as well. I guess that could happen if most of the float is owned by a few very strong hands, and they all decide to raise their asks at the same time.
I'm thinking there is a group of traders buying lotto tickets as well, or a few board longs who are so enthusiastic, they're adding more here.
