Overstock lost over $100 million last year! They've lost money each of the last 5 years. That's the difference. From what we know, XTMS is making money with at least $12 million in revs for this year per recent PRs. Both being shorted? Maybe. But one earned it with year in and year out losses. As to XTMS, a profitable company from what we know. If the company follows through on their promises, it's a slam dunk. If not, well that's a different story!

tallie, bliz beat me to it. nutshell: overstock has been hemorrhaging money, while XTMS has both a strong product and, in theory, profits on their growing revenue base.

we won't know for sure until they release financials.
