Patstas: I can't reply to you privately because I'm a free IHUB member (soon to change), but I was having similar problems with Paltalk.

I had to uninstall IE7, which was inadvertantly installed on my main PC this past weekend because I had my settings to "Auto-updates" from Microsoft.

I resolved the problem by uninstalling IE7.

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, then remove IE7. You will then be left with IE6 by default, so there's nothing to worry about.

After you do that, go back to Control Panel, click on Auto-Updates, click on the Properties tab, & change it to "notify me but do not perform auto-updates".

Reboot your PC after you do this, then when you are notified that there are updates pending for your PC (gold shield in the system tray at the bottom right of your screen), make sure you select "Custom" so that IE7 doesn't get inadvertantly get installed again.

This has resolved the problem for many folks, myself included.

Good Luck & Good Weekend!!!
