Unless the respective contracts prohibit it, the company would be negligent if they didn't seek other licensees.

What the heck do you think a company does with IP? Use it once and forget about it? How many gadgets have Texas Instruments IP in them? Is it ethical for them to sell them to more than one customer?

All the ethics are written into the contract. Lawyers leave nothing to chance. At least not the good ones.

Are you saying all those big names e.Digital snuggles up to don't have good lawyers?
