Tinroad...I would imagine that, unless the orders were sizeable, guaranteed and quite repetitious in terms of reorders, such a restrictive contract would not get written.

I'm actually shocked that so many of you think e.Digital not only can but truly should go out and find other licensees for the custom platforms developed under contract with APS, Eclipse and Softeq.

Perhaps you misunderstand what I am saying. I'm not claiming that e.Digital can't work on custom platform designs for other AV, car stereo or customers for wireless systems, only that the specific platforms developed for APS, Eclipse and Softeq/HP should not be able to be licensed to anyone other than them without their express authorization.

If you understand what I am saying and still believe e.Digital can and should exploit the custom platforms it develops for its customers by licensing them to other customers, then I guess I will just have to remain shocked.
