Cassandra,

The Soviet Union was gainst such exploitation, but the is the good ole USA. It's called capitalism.

It may be that you're giving too much credit to Falk's businees prowess and not enough to the technology.

Have a great weekend!

Astounding. Imagine all that deductive reasoning, all without having a clue as to how the contracts were written! Truly amazing.

Fwiw, I think the aps unit rose from the ashes of colliers "killer app". I think edig was chosen by boyer because they already had a unit that could be tweaked to do what he wanted.

Those companies paid for custom product/platform development and own the platforms...

Time to be careful, hon. Thin ice. You know what that is?

Cassandra - you have no idea what's in those contracts and who owns what. My firm has hundreds of clients whom we do custom work for (to meet their specs/requirements), and we own EVERYTHING. We won't do a deal for a customer if we don't keep the IP.

For you to even comment something like that is ludicrous.

Cassandra ...

Perhaps this will help you better understand e.Digital`s business ... I just happened to find it on the Company`s new website ...

Reference products ready for your "Private Label" branding

e.Digital reference products are fully developed hardware platforms that integrate our technology platforms with customizable feature sets, electronics packaging and even industrial design. It is an effective way to leverage e.Digital's technology, product or service offerings to optimize your product development cycle. You can private label an existing design as is. Or customize it to suit your design and feature requirements.

Below is a sample of the digital product categories for which we have developed reference products:

Digital music players and jukeboxes featuring high-quality audio, multi-codec capabilities, 1.8" or 2.5" hard drive or removable storage including: CompactFlash™, Secure Digital Card™, MMCard™, Microdrive™, PocketZip™ and DataPlay™ digital media.

In-dash car audio systems for recording and playback of digital music in Internet formats.

Multi-media and e-book tablet platforms combining music, video, text and voice storage and playback functionality with larger displays.

Digital voice recorders with advanced digital features and infrared, cable or docking station PC connections.

Digital imaging including still and video integrated with audio in handheld products.

Cell phone audio components for playback of Internet music formats.

Set top boxes for real time streaming or downloading of digital music in Internet formats.

In-store kiosks for recording personal mix of digital music onto removable media.

Hope this helps.

Cass, APS' idea for the Digeplayer was hardly original. I suggested a similar design to EDIG over three years ago. Only conceptual difference was that my proposal was for a video player that could be expanded to contain tech manuals, drawings and blueprints, as well as video and audio presentations, procedures, etc. I even suggested that they target airlines, as well as other industries. Just because you think EDIG and its shareholders are dim doesn't make it so. Rather, it exposes the narrowness of your perspective.
