Yes I agree, the locals in Piqua near the Hemi leases are certainly talking about the Hemi 2 results, You know how small towns in SE KS are, companies can BS the investors but cannot BS the locals, I think this news confirms rumors I heard over the weekend.

TheApprentice, it is good to hear from one who has experience in the field about the significance of this well.

Hemi drilled this well on a lease that has many mature oil wells already and STILL got a well that came in at 68 bopd. I think that is incredible. I am guessing your comment of "25 BOPD tops" was even from wells on new leases that did not have existing wells right near them? Is that correct? If so, that is another thing to think about... Keith can get a well to come in at 68 bopd on a mature field while others are used to seeing a max of 25 bopd on a new field. Think what Hemi can do when they drill in areas that don't and never have had wells nearby?

We are in for some exciting times :)

Group DD projects oilwells over 80 bbls per day are very likely in several areas of the 5 leases with mature wells in Woodson County Kansas. The very excellent 1st. well producing 68 bbls per day will Not be the biggest oil well on the 5 leases based on our own DD of All geological pay zones in southeast Ks. in mature oilfields. The oil pay-zone-simulation process of Hemi & the water-gas-solution-drive , in other adjacent leases owned by Hemi that have No mature wells , will produce oil wells with production over 100 bbls. is our DD opinion. We will in hindsight prove to be accurate about projections being revised-up on reserves in BOE in Kansas & Texas. New Gas wells in Ks. are Not yet in the reserves report, but are comming for Woodson County based on new DD. Thanks to all astute board members that value DD accuracy. Tia
