my mistake. i just assumed since scottrade cleared up the issue so promptly (thinking etrade would do the same) it wasn't anything to be concerned about.

Conspiracy theory #21:

All the VC's got their millions of shares at .04xx which, once registered, will leave them with plenty of shares for the future, even after covering their earlier short positions.

Now this price run up on no hard news has them shorting again.

With all the shares that must be out there in cash accounts, I'd be surprised if naked shorting would ever be an issue. Perhaps it is something else ETrade is concerned about.
