Stocks aren't prevented from online trading for "no reason" as you seem to believe based on your comment. I think it is a relevant discussion to have to find out why it is happening. Your issue with Scottrade may or may not be related since it appears you can do it once again on Scottrade. ETrade has added NEOM to their Hard Stop List. When I inquired what that list meant to ETrade I was told it was a list of securities they wanted to watch because there was the possibility of fraudulent activity and they wanted to monitor the stock more closely. I like to know these things about my investments. If you don't then please ingore posts on this subject and move on. There have been only a handfull of posts on the subject so I'm not sure why this discussion bothers you.
