This request for 30 day extension is almost always requested and granted.

The average Asst. U.S Attorney is juggling 30 to 50 cases at the same time in different stages of development.
Criminal and Civil

Always trying to develop different avenues for yet uncovered evidence
and always running behind due to other cases they are preparing for trial or pleading out.

Nothing unusual about the Asst. U.S. Attorney requesting an extension.
If this goes to guilty plea or trial in less than a year,
I will be shocked.
