Not to provide grist for the bashers, but it reads like owd was saying that B&O grabbed the rights to the player from EDIG, not that they don't sell it any more. Anyway owd, Tinroad has a point, your less than $25k revenue charge has been shot down, any proof to this claim that EDIG no longer owns the right to the B&O player. I don't care who owns what (they paid for the design, I suppose they should own it) as long as B&O is still cutting EDIG checks for each player sold.

The number was just going from memory, didn't feel like looking it up. Hence the "I think", I knew it was some ridiculously low number. I stand corrected. The $95K covers more of someone's salary than I remembered. That is HUGE!!! I mean to earn $95K over 18 months is almost unheard in the CE business!!! That is $5k/month!!!

Remember how many millions this was going to bring EDIG back in the day?? I mean the whole 3000+ retail outlets times X number of players per month stuff? Seems sad that all that only added $95k in revenue TOTAL..

So, since they cleared $5k a month in that deal, do you think they will see that kind of monies from GW? Just think, if they approach B&O type revenues on this deal, that will mean an extra $100k in revenues over the next 18 months for EDIG. That will go a good way toward paying part of someone's salary!!

Seriously, you guys are so good at looking things up. What does the 9/30/2003 10-Q say about the B&O deal? There was an update, right? Why doesn't someone post this?? Is it hard to find?

And I don't know what all your ranting about B&O still selling the player is about. If you wanted to AGREE with this statement of mine- "Yet they are still selling the player.", all you had to do was say "I agree". Did you misread what I wrote?

And lickily, if you want to know if B&O is still paying EDIG for every player sold, you could check the latest 10-Q. It will list it if they are. There is a reason these guys are quoting the March 10-Q and not the latest. I wonder what that reason could be??
