Most interesting to me in the Iran situation was that the prevailing consensus, not taking precipitious military action, was to embargo their exports.

That would be a REAL shock to the oil markets..

We had a containment policy in the Middle East. It was called Iraq. Now that we've flushed that down the toilet, there are no good options. Fine by me. Domestic and Canadian oil should keep me in pretty good stead.
