Spin, I thought I gave it away with this Big hint. "hence my alias and not MRS" He plays a Gibson 335, Arrow335 my alias. If not Mrs...Mr335. He and Pat Metheny were/are one of several of my guitar hero's growing up. I thought if you knew Pat Metheny surley you would know this dude? Did you do a search on strange looking guitars? lol guess that's what I would of done.
It's Larry Carlton, a Great Session player and Artist in his own right. I think he's put out about 26 of his own albums and played on 100's of other artist albums. He's another one of those behind the seens great players.
Anyway he did team up in 1995 with the guy in the photo below, Lee Ritenour. He's another great player although a little lower on my list of all time favorites.
