During Riverbed's last conference call, CEO Kennelly said Riverbed is developing a product for personal computers that would give traveling employees faster access to data on corporate servers, whether they are logging on from an airport lounge or hotel room.
He went on to say that it uses their base technology and puts extra pressure on corporations to pursue deployment of their Steelhead boxes.
Riverbed expects to launch its product this summer.
