Try not to let it get personal. Des is scum just as are some people at the top of Exxon. I'd be willing to bank any amount of money that there are some very good people at the very top of Exxon.
Just as with many things in our society, the honorable people don't get noticed and the spotlight is focused beyond them at the corruption. It sells so much better for the media & that's because we as citizens buy it (no one makes us).
I made money off ecfl but took it for what it was. I really hope that doesn't make me a bad person. I rode the tides but never at 1 point encouraged anyone to get into it. Quite the opposite. A few people that I do consulting for ask me about my investments. I told them I was making money but to not touch it with a 10 ft. poll. Had offers from people willing to give me money to invest for them but refused.
I like to gamble, make my plays and don't hold anyone else accountable for my failures or my successes other than myself. I'm an adult and am accountable for myself.
